Achievements

Engineering Leadership and Achievements:

1. 2010–2017: Served as Chief Technology Officer at Beijing Novel Medical Equipment Co., Ltd. Established and led a multidisciplinary R&D team of approximately 70 engineers. Directed the development and commercialization of:

(1)Animal PET/2010–2017:SPECT/CT systems (over 10 installations by 2025)

(2) Clinical SPECT systems (over 20 installations by 2025)

(3)Industrial gamma cameras for airport and border security (over 100 installations by 2025)

2. 2021–2024: Founded and led a 25-member engineering team at the Greater Bay Area National Center of Technology Innovation. Focused on the development of self-collimating gamma imaging systems, including animal and clinical SPECT devices. Achieved three notable installations by 2025:

(1)Self-collimating handheld gamma camera, installed at Fuwai Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, for imaging validation of novel myocardial blood flow tracers

(2)High-resolution clinical gamma camera, installed at China-Japan Friendship Hospital, for the diagnosis of hyperparathyroidism

(3)High-resolution small-animal SPECT, installed at The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, for preclinical imaging of ^131I- and ^177Lu-labeled therapeutic tracers.
